With thirteen years of public and private sector experience, Greg began his professional career in marketing and fundraising, ultimately pursuing a career in public service. As a young professional, Greg was able to serve at the senior level of local government focusing on government operations at the macro and micro-level. Greg has had the opportunity to work extensively with elected officials and public sector leaders as an advisor, government service practitioner and communications expert. After working with six municipalities in three states, Greg is currently a consultant with Lieneur, Inc. where he utilizes his relationships and knowledge of communities to assist clients with stakeholder engagement, business development, and fundraising. As a civic leader he serves on numerous boards focused on youth development and education, innovation, and workforce development. As a "civic-creative" he has curated many events and activities related to civic engagement, community empowerment, and community service. Additionally, Greg is the spokesperson for the Atlanta Speaks Initiative which has recruited over 1,000 professional speakers—impacting thousands of students across metropolitan Atlanta. He is also the founder of Atlanta’s GovTech, a mini-conference highlighting innovation in government service delivery. Greg is the recipient of the esteemed 2018 Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Award from the Boy Scouts of America-Atlanta Area Council. He is also the recipient of the U.S. Presidential MLK, Jr. Drum Major for Service Award and the NFBPA Stephen Ford Memorial award recognizing the national, young public administrator of the year. He is a recent appointee to the Atlanta Board of Education’s Equity Taskforce where he will work with others to recommend policies to increase upward mobility for residents, a critical issue in Atlanta. He is also an active alumnus of LEAD Atlanta, Outstanding Atlanta, and the New Leaders Council. He has lectured and spoken on topics related to civic engagement, millennial politics, and youth development.
