Godwin is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Terraoak, a social venture that aims to bring efficient solar box-cookers to the Ashanti region of Ghana. Terraoak hopes to mitigate the deaths caused by indoor air pollution from cooking. Through the Genesys, a prototype solar cooker that has the ability to cook regardless of sunlight, they will reduce smoke emission by 90% (when compared to other cookers), while turning energy created during the cooking process into electricity. Godwin currently studying Mathematics and Computer Science at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has been a Resolution Fellow since 2014.
