Gerry has a secret past as a tech writer, but for the last 15 years or more he's been working in usability and User Experience design. He's worked with banks, telcos and government agencies, and he likes to talk.
His passion is for helping organisations understand their customers or users and trying to help build better systems and services accordingly. He has written and presented and lectured in Australia, Asia, Europe and a pre-Trump USA on user-centred design and related topics.
He runs the User Experience podcast (uxpod.com) which is a lazy way to associate himself with quality content. He's a co-author with Caroline Jarrett of Forms That Work and he's contributed to other books.
He's also a former Director of Publications at UXPA (the User Experience Professionals Association). He notices misplaced apostrophes but tries not to dwell on them.
