Having completed a degree in History at Oxford University, George joined SASA Music, a boutique roots music agency, as assistant to the Director, David Flower.
After booking worldwide touring for artists including Buena Vista Social Club, Tinariwen, Tony Allen, Sam Lee and Eliza Carthy, George moved on from SASA after ten years to join the Royal Albert Hall’s Programming team.
Focusing on the Royal Albert Hall’s Own & Co promotes, George has worked on in-house productions with artists including Robert Plant, Kylie Minogue, Nine Inch Nails, Nitin Sawhney and Nigel Kennedy.
The Hall’s film with live orchestra productions have continued to grow and George has worked on titles including Star Wars, Jaws, Casino Royale, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, Gladiator and ET, as well as developing unique live projects with composers Michael Giacchino and James Newton Howard.
