Geoffrey is a long-time believer in building scalable remote culture and developed Reconneq as a tool for others to do so. Geoffrey built the Identity division and product at Trusting Social, a startup focused on the unbanked and underbanked in India, Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines. During COVID19, with a remote working team across 4 countries, he launched an eKYC product and scaled users from 0 to 4M a month. He is also the Founder and Chairman of volunteer network Choson Exchange. Over more than a decade, Geoffrey built the leading grassroots-led organization driving economic change in North Korea, training over 2000 North Koreans in entrepreneurship, economic policy and law and reaching more than 10,000 with their materials. In North Korea, his work exposed a generation of Koreans to international practices, and contributed to enterprise reform, Special Economic Zones establishment and legal reforms. He also led product development in the blockchain and AI space for financial inclusion. Geoffrey graduated from Yale University and the Wharton School and was an exchange student at Tsinghua University.
