Gay Gilmore is the co-owner (with her husband, Troy Hakala) of Optimism Brewing Company. While Troy is the brewer, Gay is the everything else. They previously founded the cooking community and recipe site Food.com. When not at the brewery she is hanging out with their three children and an English bulldog named Barley.
