Galen gets people living boldly as a coach, speaker, and community leader. Through Courage Club’s immersive public events and private training, he’s helped thousands of creators and creatives across the country take daring action toward what they want most.

Before founding Courage Club, he was executive director of the innovation space New Leaf Initiative, which helped State College, PA, get named one of the best U.S. cities for entrepreneurs.

He also previously served as a director for a chapter of the country’s largest grassroots mental health organization, where he trained in peer support. He has mentored for StartingBloc and Watson University, as well as coached for startup accelerators and alternative ed programs.

Galen’s work has received recognition from Entrepreneur magazine, the Knight Foundation, and Centre Foundation. He was born in Boulder but moved when he was one so only mentions being a native when someone complains about all the people moving here.
