    Fred Greene

    Co-founder, Project Destined

    Fred Greene is a co-founder of Project Destined. As the son of a real estate developer Father and career educator Mother, the idea of marrying real estate and education has always been engrained in his DNA. While growing up in a split parent household, Fred was exposed to the power of entrepreneurship and ownership at an early age. Through Project Destined, he seeks to impart the knowledge and training that he received throughout his career to scholars sooner than he received it, with the goal of inspiring a new generation of entrepreneurs and future owners earlier in life.

    Fred’s professional background involves over 13 years of diversified real estate development, investment and economic development experience working on over 3 Million square feet of commercial development across his career. Fred has worked for various institutional real estate investors and developers, including The JBG Companies (Now JBG Smith) and Capri Capital Partners.

    Fred is also a Partner with FLGA Real Estate Group, a boutique real estate development and investment firm based out of Washington DC. He is also an active participant of the Social Enterprise Initiative (SEI) within the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Chicago School of Business and sits on the board of the Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy.

    Fred received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his B.S. in Business Administration from Georgetown University.
