Francis Finnegan
Data Analyst, Department of Defense
Francis Finnegan is currently contracted with the DoD to provide analytical assistance to a sub agency, the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center, helping veterans in need. He also assists non-profits throughout the country with legislative & data analysis to help inform voters on how well their elected officials actually represent them. He graduated from American University in 2015 with a Maters in Philosophy and from General Assembly's Data Analytics program the following year and has been teaching in Washington D.C. & remote courses since. Ever since graduating, he has been navigating the wonderful world of data, writing python all along the way, in areas of fiscal/social policy, healthcare, real estate, finance, and many more disparate areas. Very excited to educate fellow self-starters!
