Feather's first web site was a personal page in the early 90s. She then developed web applications for several large companies, including Sun Microsystems and Electronic Arts, and taught web technology courses to IT consultants. After that she was a Java developer for a startup. She has worked with many different web technologies, but her current framework of choice is Ruby on Rails.
