I've been working as a software developer in the civic tech space since January of this year, and it's been quite a ride! My stack includes Python / Django, Bootstrap, React.js, and PostgresQL (most of which you all will be learning!) I'm currently working on a small app that takes a music file, modulates the key, and makes the new audio file available for download. Outside of software development, I'm a cat parent, poet, musician, and Oxford comma advocate. I also enjoy talking and reading about cultural criticism, literary analysis, and what artistic craft looks like.
Teaching SEI students is a lot of fun! It's great to see students become resourceful and make smart and creative decisions with their code while gaining confidence and building projects around their interests. I look forward to seeing what each of you builds!
