Currently, he is an Advisory Partner for the Data & Analytics Practice at Gartner, co-leading all aspects of the practice sales/business development growth strategy and plan, client service delivery, and internal delivery methodologies. Prior to Gartner and most recently, he was the Global Chief Data Officer & Head of Analytics at Toyota Financial Services. Farouk has won awards as CDO leading the business, innovation roadmaps and developments of new data, mobile and analytics solutions resulting in increased global business growth. He has a blend of consulting and end user experiences working at Accenture, Bearing Point, Citigroup and Corvis Corporation.
Farouk holds a BS degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics and Economics; MBA in Finance, with additional MS studies in Applied Statistics and Industrial Engineering. He has authored various data and analytics publications.
