Eva Mae Baucom is the Creative Director at Embodied Labs, an award-winning immersive education and wellness platform using 360 film and medical animations to create embodied, virtual reality patient experience labs for healthcare trainees and professionals and family caregivers. She studied medical illustration at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she created illustrations and 3D animations for patient education. She also studied in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior and Art from UC Davis while interning at UCD Medical Center. Her ultimate goal is to use science, art, and design to improve health literacy, engage diverse audiences, and empower patients
