Chicago
Erin is a General Manager for Uber’s Midwest team, where she focuses on marketplace reliability and product innovation, such as uberPOOL and uberWAV (wheelchair accessible vehicles). Prior to Uber, she spent several years as a Digital Strategy consultant at McKinsey, tackling large companies’ toughest digital problems. She also spent several years in the tech industry in the Bay Area, working at both Nokia and a mobile startup to grow their businesses through sales and partnerships. She graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Public Policy, and completed her M.B.A. at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
Erin is also passionate about the communities she lives in. For over 10 years, she has mentored high school students who are the first in their families to go to college, and she currently serves on the board of Playworks Illinois, which focuses on providing healthy and accessible play to elementary school students across the state. At Uber she gets to marry her passion for business and communities by working on the business challenges that directly impact cities like Chicago, and connecting monthly with the drivers and riders her company serves.
