Erin is an award-wining journalist with NY1 News in New York City. She's covered everything from features to devastating natural disasters like Superstorm Sandy to some of the biggest crime stories in New York City. Erin is a native New Yorker who doesn't take 'No" for an answer, so it's no surprise that in her spare time, you can catch her challenging herself on a run through the city. To date, she's competed in several half-marathon. Erin earned a Bachelors of Art in English Writing from the University of Pittsburgh and a Masters of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University's prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, the The New York and National Association of Black Journalists.
