Erika Salomon is a Data Science Fellow at the University of Chicago’s Center for Data Science and Public Policy (DSaPP), where she helps governments use machine learning to deliver services more efficiently, effectively, and equitably. Her work focuses on criminal justice interventions designed to keep vulnerable people out of jail. She earned a PhD in social psychology from the University of Illinois, a master’s degree in Cognition and Culture at Queen’s University Belfast, and a bachelor’s degree in English at the University of Maryland.
