    Erika Gill (she/her) is a writer and DEI champion who works to make the Denver tech community more diverse, equitable and inclusive as a member of Elevate Change (a coalition of Colorado DEI practitioners). Previously a founding member and lead of Ibotta’s employee-led Inclusion and Diversity group, she is looking forward to working to make hiring safer, more efficient, and more inclusive through an incoming role at Checkr.

    Erika has called Denver home for four years, and is originally from Southern California, with a brief childhood stint in Oklahoma. Her professional career has included writing for various media, environmental activism, teaching, and event production. When she isn’t working you can find her in bed with a laptop, several books, her cat, and her 90 lb German Shepherd Dog.
