Eric Steuer is the Director of Creative Commons' content and community program. He works with artists, media companies, and cultural institutions on projects that use Creative Commons licenses. Before joining CC, Eric was an editor for Wired magazine, where he is now a contributing writer. He's the board chair of CASH Music, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering artists through free and open tools. He's also a musician who has released several albums under CC licenses.
