Eric has been a data scientist at DaVita for the last three years leading many interdisciplinary projects with a focus on complex systems modeling. Prior to DaVita, Eric developed predictive models for Xcel Energy and served as a government public policy analyst. He strongly recommends a broad liberal education (whether attained formally or attained informally and autodidactically) in addition to technical skill development. Eric has a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Kansas and is a PhD candidate in computational science and statistics at South Dakota State University
