Emily Pela

Emily started her career as an Architect, where she worked on number of Sports Stadia and Residential schemes. After taking a UX bootcamp at General Assembly (GA) back in 2018, she decided to reorientate her skills to User Experience, which she sees as a digital form of Architecture.

Emily completed the GA User Experience Immersive programme and afterwards joined the instructional team for two subsequent UX immersive programs. Emily has recently started a new role at the British Home Office, working in Interaction Design.

Emily has a passion for creating engaging and accessible experiences for people, devising products through research and iterative design. She loves communicating and supporting others to develop and reach their full potential.
