Emily Leahy

Emily Leahy has been working in UX for more than 15 years. In that time, she has had many titles — Information Architect, Interaction Designer, and Strategist to name a few — but the goal of building great experiences for people has always been the same.
A graduate of the Florida State University School of Information Studies, Emily's academic background focused on the design of systems that connect people to the information they want and need. Usability testing and other user research methods made up a large part of her program sparked her interest in user experience work. Interning at an advertising agency helped her understand the application of those skills beyond libraries and record searches and see them as a part of the creative process.
Emily currently manages the Interaction Design team for Oracle's Social Cloud Platform.
