Emily Dothe is a Data Scientist at abillion, helping build a digital ecosystem that helps make sustainability and social impact a lifestyle for everyone. The Data team at abillion uses advanced analytics and machine learning to create seamless user experiences that match their sustainability journey. They also leverage data from the app to publish reports providing data-driven insights about socially responsible consumption to the sustainability-focused business community.
Emily has over five years of experience spanning the Data Science and Software Engineering fields. Prior to joining abillion, she completed a Master’s in Business Analytics at Imperial College London, where she was a Data Analytics Scholar with DLA Piper. During her time at Imperial she also served as the Director of Career Development and Education for the Social Impact and Responsible Business Club, working to bring awareness to the possibilities of a career combining data and social impact. Before pursuing her Master’s, Emily worked as a Software Engineer at Goldman Sachs building investment research and portfolio management applications with the GSAM Credit Alternatives group. She graduated from Cornell University in 2016 with a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a minor in music.
