Emily Carter is a designer, entrepreneur and mentor. She enjoys working on ideas that inspire and improve the lives of others both personally and professionally. As the founder of The Happy Career, she uses over 15 years of career experience to work with individuals to help them find their Happy Career path. As a design lead and program manager, Emily has worked on digital, print and experiential initiatives at ad agencies, media companies and tech startups and has launched initiatives for clients such as Kraft, Nestlé, Lowe's, Walgreens, CNN, Time Inc., and Beam Suntory. She also hosts Designers + Geeks, a monthly speaker series and networking event for people interested in design, art and technology.
