Emilie Chen is a freelance art director and graphic designer from Paris who specialises in design for cultural clients and publishing. In 2018 she left her position as senior designer at The National Theatre to freelance and since then has built up an enviable client base including Somerset House, Penguin Random House, Yellow Earth Theatre and Faber & Faber.
Emilie loves coming up with big ideas, crafting beautiful designs and using her skills to help people and create meaningful work. She co-founded the London chapter of Ladies Wine Design London with Helen Friel in 2016, and has given lectures at Central St Martins, Camberwell College of Arts and London College of Communication.
