    Eleanor joined the tech world, after making the jump from academia, and has never looked back. She currently manages the customer experience teams at Plated, where she oversees day-to-day operations and reports on customer analytics for the rest of the company. Previously, she worked in customer analytics at Amazon, for the Amazon Echo and related AI devices, running large teams of data analysts around the world. Prior to joining Amazon, Eleanor worked in Italian ad analytics at Google.

    In addition to professional and academic pursuits, Eleanor has spent the last 20 years working closely with farmers and farms throughout the Northeast, facilitating farmers’ markets and establishing venues for farmers’ fresh produce and local food products to be sold. She holds a BA in Italian literature from Hunter College and a PhD in the same subject from Johns Hopkins University.
