Eileen Tjan is the principal/creative director of OTHER Studio, a multi-disciplinary design practice in Chicago, IL. She is also the lead designer and co-founder of Grand Circus Magazine, a print briefing about Arts and Culture in Detroit. Before opening her own practice, Eileen worked as an award winning Art Director and Designer at Design Army in Washington, DC and has also had the pleasure of working at Digital Kitchen and BBDO. She has spoken at various events and universities both local and international. Born in Singapore, raised in Michigan, and at home in Chicago, she’s excited for the future of art & design in the Midwest.
