Ed Kim was most recently the VP of Engineering at Social Tables, a venture-backed startup based in D.C. As one of the first employees, he coded the early versions of a product that is now used by thousands of hotels, universities, and venues around the world. He also hired and managed a team of 10+ software engineers. Prior to joining Social Tables, he held jobs in finance and marketing and had never coded professionally or managed anyone before. He is currently in the midst of another career transition. He keeps getting better at them every time.
