After trying life as a wannabe writer, a hotel wage slave and a might-as-well-be sailor, Duyen decided to anchor herself in code. Her goal was to learn all that she could in 100 days and to figure out the next step from there. The quest to find her way was filled with new discoveries, much frustration and self-doubt. Duyen’s learning changed gears when she was accepted to be the first Girl Geek Academy scholarship student to do the Web Development Immersive at General Assembly in Melbourne. She has since worked as a Front-End Developer at Deloitte Digital and is now learning the full-stack at REA.
