As a manager for Skillful Colorado, Dr. Drew Ceccato oversees projects and relationships that leverage data from diverse sources to mobilize and maximize resources as they pertain to the advancement of skills based hiring practices and training.

Drew earned a B.M. in saxophone performance from New England Conservatory of Music and a M.F.A. in performance and literature from Mills College where he obtained the important skills of not only being able to interpret and understand complex and highly subjective information but also the ability to reconcile and mitigate differences of opinion between individuals through communication and understanding. Furthermore, Drew completed his PhD from the University of California San Diego where his researched focused on music and art as a driver for healthy and spontaneous community development which provided the opportunity to become skillful in the practice of both forming and unpacking variable ideas and identifying modes of influence within. While working on his PhD, Drew also worked for a number of San Diego start-ups that sought to solve our most pressing social issues through use of better data practices. In doing so, he became proficient at developing unique solutions and flying by the seat of his pants.

Drew is active and passionate about increasing agency for those who need it most. Through research and professional outreach, Drew works to implement data-centric interactive ecosystems that are used to increase the impact of philanthropic organizations and institutions while helping to provide underserved individuals and communities with increased agency and a seat at the table.
