Singapore
As a Cybersecurity Specialist in GovTech, Mei Hui designs and shapes the thought leadership of the cybersecurity operations in the Whole-of-Government (WOG). Additionally, she actively promotes the use of data analytics and visualisation, in her capacity as the Data Champion for the Cybersecurity Group.
Mei Hui is active in the cybersecurity community. Apart from holding an executive committee role on the Singapore Computer Society’s Cybersecurity Chapter, she volunteers in various mentoring programmes and aims to build a more cohesive cyber ecosystem.
Prior to GovTech, Mei Hui was from PriceWaterhouseCoopers Singapore and Deloitte Singapore, specialising in governance, compliance and architecture of Security Operation Centres (SOC). Previously, she has won awards in her role as a researcher in the National University of Singapore (NUS) and graduated as the Valedictorian for her cohort in the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme. She majored in computer vision and machine learning and has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) from NUS, and Minor in Business (Technopreneurship) from Tsinghua University.
