I am clinical psychologist and the founder of The Mind Minute, a newsletter providing busy women with quick and practical tools to help them manage their stress and feel happier. I write extensively on how to manage difficult thoughts and feelings using science-backed techniques. The Midult described me as a Well-Being Wonderwoman, and I do, in fact, own a cape.
I am also a specialist in the NHS treating refugees with PTSD who have been tortured or survived war or sexual violence. I regularly teach and train other psychologists from Ireland to Iraq.
Before becoming a clinical psychologist I worked as a TV documentary producer and director for the BBC and Channel 4.
