Dipayan Ghosh is a computer scientist and technology policy strategist focused on issues at the intersection of privacy and security. Most recently, he served as a privacy & public policy advisor at Facebook, and prior, was a technology policy advisor in the Obama White House, where he worked on issues related to consumer privacy, Internet policy, and algorithmic decision-making. Before joining government, Dipayan received a Ph.D. in electrical engineering & computer science from Cornell University and conducted postdoctoral study at the University of California, Berkeley. He received a Bachelor's in electrical engineering from the University of Connecticut.
