Dena Soukieh
Experience Designer and Researcher, IBM

Dena Soukieh is an experience designer and researcher at IBM. Prior to this role, she was a UX designer at CHI & Partners, a creative advertising firm originally from London, making new roots in here NYC. Her work experience spans multiple disciplines, from experience design to visual design and most recently to design research.
Dena has an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons, The New School for Design. She finds passion in communicating design research insights that help make the whole team go "ahhhh, that’s what the user wants/needs".
She also dabbles in tactile design on the side, everything from laser cut plexiglass jewelry to metal smithing. When she’s not designing, she’s usually playing roller derby or squishing her cute dog Sandor.
