Deb brings a background in corporate finance, venture capital investing and entrepreneurship. He currently works in a Corporate Development role at GAIN Capital, a leading FX brokerage firm. He focuses his efforts on Pan-Asia M&A, strategic investments and new ventures. Prior to joining GAIN, he founded a Hong Kong-based PDF software company. As an entrepreneur, he was instrumental in driving alliances and business development deals, helping the company achieve millions of dollars in annual sales. Prior to his move to Hong Kong, Deb was an Associate with Tandem Expansion, a Canadian technology growth capital fund. He began his career as an Analyst with VantagePoint Capital Partners, a Silicon Valley-based venture capital fund. Deb is a graduate of McGill University, where he obtained a B.Com. in Finance and Strategic Management and The University of Hong Kong, where he obtained an M.Sc. in Electronic Commerce and Internet Computing.
