Dean Foley is an internationally recognised expert of First Nations Entrepreneurship, and is the founder of Barayamal.

"For me, my passion and commitment come straight from my identity as a Kamilaroi man from Gunnedah NSW and from my love for my people and my vision for how to help them build a better world for themselves and in so doing build a better world for everyone.

This vision is why I started my company Barayamal, which is now known for being a world leader in First Nations Entrepreneurship.

My history of service to my community began when I served as a National Guard member and during my time in the Royal Australian Air Force and I have continued to prioritise work that allows me to give back and make a real difference in people’s lives.

The lessons I learned in teamwork, problem-solving, project management, and leadership from my time in service and from my educational and professional experiences have allowed me to identify and target the best ways to give back to my community through successful business ventures and consultancy work.
