David is the Director of Data Science at Fair and earned his master’s degree in engineering from UC Berkeley, where he researched autonomous drone control. Prior to joining Fair, David applied his quantitative skills in for investment management companies and hedge funds as a quantitative trader/developer in portfolio and risk management. At Avant, he led a team that produced state-of-the-art machine learning models in marketing, loan underwriting and portfolio analytics.
