David Lee has years of experience as a film programmer, reviewer and publicist, having curated various film festivals and programmes such as the Singapore Chinese Film Festival, SFS Talkies, Animation Nation, Singapore Writers Festival, SG Films@ Library, and community screenings for the People’s Association. He has reviewed movies for Good Morning Singapore and contributed regular film articles and reviews to InSing.com. David is currently the Vice Chairman of the Singapore Film Society, helping to manage the longest established (since 1958) non-profit film organization in Singapore. Together with Eternality Tan, he co-founded The Filmic Eye, a consultancy firm that specializes in film distribution & marketing, as well as conducting film education programs. David regularly gave back to the local film community having been a jury member for the Singapore Short Film Awards, My Singapore Story Microfilm Competition and most recently at the 2015 Crowbar Awards and the inaugural National Youth Film Awards.
