David is a UX Designer looking to discover how to can design a happy and healthy future!
His 10 years in community pharmacy gave him an appreciation that the environment we live and work in directly affects our health and mental state. In his role, he managed teams and streamlined workflows to improve the staff experience.
Outside of pharmacy, he’s worked on video projects, where he developed concepts with clients, learned new tools on the go, and delighted audiences through the power of storytelling.
More recently, David has given lessons in using tools such as Sketch and InVision, and practiced lesson facilitation and client acquisition in his role as a UX teaching assistant here at General Assembly. He helped facilitate a workshop for children and their guardians as part of Vivid Ideas 2018 event: Creative Thinking and Inventing for Kids.
His approach to problem-solving is a diagnostic one - design for the core problem, not the symptom. He loves the collaborative process of UX, working with both people on the frontlines and behind the business to solve problems through prototyping and testing. He’s curious about how current and emerging technology can solve human problems.
