    David Friedman

Dave Friedman is a native New Yorker who first worked at a dot-com company during the "dot-com boom" of the late 90s. While at that VC-funded company he worked closely with the company’s General Counsel, CEO and investors in filing its S1 with the SEC, which filing prepares a firm to go public. Though the company never did go public, Mr. Friedman used that experience to get a job working for Mike Bloomberg’s first mayoral campaign in the summer of 2001. After helping Mr. Bloomberg win election that fall, Mr. Friedman was hired by Bloomberg LP to work in its operations department. Subsequently he worked at Citigroup, where he was responsible for a $100 million budget for the bank’s data center operations. In the aftermath of the financial crisis of 2008-2009, Mr. Friedman was laid off from Citigroup and went on to found a mobile games company that sold outsourced game development services to American and Canadian video game development studios. In the most recent incarnation of his career, Dave has been working as a financial consultant to technology entrepreneurs who are seeking venture capital financing from external investors.
