Dave is the founder of TAXO’D and has worked for himself in the creative industry for past 15 years. After going freelance in 2010, he fell down a tax hole and he’s been designing his way out ever since. He never knew what expenses he could claim, how much tax he owed or when he needed to pay it. Fed up with the lack of support and using complicated, expensive and ‘ugly’ accounting solutions designed for big businesses, curiosity took him on a journey of exploration to create a simple way of staying in control and on top of his finances so he could focus on things he loves - TAXO’D was born out of frustration, created by freelancers for freelancers.
Dave’s specialties: tenacity, design, UI/UX, animation, video, illustration, branding, web design, motion graphics, art direction, freelance survival and tax slaying!
