Daphne Jayasinghe is the International Rescue Committee’s Senior Policy and Advocacy Adviser for Economic Programmes. Her work includes influencing policy makers in implementing better air for refugees, through providing cash relief that meets their needs. She previously worked on women’s rights policy for ActionAid UK, food security and nutrition policy for Save the Children and as Amnesty International USA's Advocacy Director for Women's Human Rights. She holds an MPhil in Sociology from the University of the West Indies and a BA in Social and Political Science from the University of Cambridge.
