Daniel Simpson is the Sr. Manager of Diversity and Campus programs for The New York Times, where he focuses on the recruitment, development and eventual retention of recent college graduates and interns from top universities. In addition to recruiting, he also overseas general diversity programs at The Times, which includes numerous affinity networks, a scholarship program and a diversity oversight council. He has extensive experience in campus recruiting and diversity hiring having previously held similar roles at JPMorgan, Google, Microsoft and Barclays. Prior to his HR career, Dan taught English in Germany and France. Dan is a graduate of the University of Minnesota where he earned his BA in French.
