Daniel Ho, the founding director of Summit Law Corporation, is a lawyer with over 25 years of experience. He has worked with clients at every level – from individuals (both Singaporeans and foreigners) to SMEs to banks to multinational corporations to private family offices.

Daniel has extensive experience in private and corporate legal practice including holding regional roles in charge of legal matters covering Asia Pacific. Prior to going back into legal practice, Daniel was Senior Vice President, Chief Legal & Compliance Officer of Manulife (Singapore) Pte Ltd. Daniel previously also served as regional in-house counsel for various U.S. MNCs (including Texas Instruments and Caltex) and listed companies based in the Asia Pacific.

Possessing deep understanding of country specific legal cultures and practices, Daniel has a strong track record of delivering balanced and timely legal advice in highly pressurized environments with achievement of business objectives in mind. Daniel is effectively bilingual in English and Chinese, with experience in reviewing legal documentation and contracts in Chinese. In his previous roles, he had worked on a diverse range of legal functions including providing legal advice and guidance; prosecution of cases in courts and litigation management; documentation preparation and drafting; compliance and corporate secretarial responsibilities.

Daniel graduated with a Bachelor of Law degree from the National University of Singapore in 1988.
