Dan currently heads the innovation accelerator at TAL. TAL’s flagship accelerator program bring teams together to fast-track ideas to market using Human Centred Design, Agile Delivery and extensive testing with customers through TAL’s experience lab.
Dan is also a part-time Instructor at General Assembly. He has 17 years’ commercial experience. Prior to joining TAL, Dan was Head of Brand at Samsung Electronics Australia. During this tenure Dan lived in Korea for a year and worked in the Samsung Global Marketing and Innovation Centre, leading global brand strategy and marketing innovation projects. After five years with Samsung, Dan joined the Beanstalk Factory – an innovation consultancy firm that helps large organisations innovate. Dan has also worked as an intrapreneur at IAG, responsible for launching new innovative and disruptive products.
Across 2015/17, Dan founded a non-for-profit, purpose driven, online community encouraging men to tell their stories, connect and give advice to other men who have lost loved ones.
Dan has an MBA from MGSM, Bachelor of Business from CSU and is currently studying a Master of Data Science and Innovation at UTS.
