Dan Abel is director of marketing at Reverb.com, the online marketplace for buying, selling, and learning about music gear. As the driver of Reverb’s overall marketing and brand strategy, Abel leads a team of more than twenty creative and marketing professionals across video, social media, email, search, advertising, merchandising, PR, and more.
Prior to joining Reverb.com, Abel served as YouTube’s Content Partnerships Manager, supporting the growth of the platform’s robust music offerings and ensuring YouTube’s ongoing value for artists and the broader music community. Abel joined YouTube as the Creative Strategy Marketing Manager, helping to lead the company’s editorial team and creative agencies, after spending two years in music marketing at leading entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency.
Abel received a BBA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business. He recently moved from New York City to Chicago, where he lives with his wife and daughter
