Dalton Hart

Lead Instructor, General Assembly

San Francisco

Dalton began their career in technology as a freelance web developer and graphic artist for several large tech companies across California. With several years of freelance work experience alongside being as a regional trainer for a large telecom, he combined his passions for programming and teaching by joining General Assembly's team.

When they are not teaching you can find them online watching tutorials on some sort of new technology and building an Arduino robot army. If they are not learning, you can also find them playing competitive video games or lost in a good audiobook.

In recognition of his exemplary service in the classroom, Dalton has been selected as a member of General Assembly's Distinguished Faculty program.

In Dalton's student's words:
"Dalton is excellent teacher. Their deep knowledge of the course materials combined with great communication skills made for an enjoyable learning experience. They are really good at breaking big problems down into small manageable tasks and explaining them clearly. Having their support gave me the confidence to tackle larger more ambitious projects. Thank you, Dalton!"
