As Executive Director of Ada Developers Academy, Cynthia is responsible for training women from diverse backgrounds for software development jobs and expanding Ada's programs. She joins Ada from Microsoft where she spent 20 years building and managing highly effective teams in program management. Cynthia earned her Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She was born and raised in the Philippines, and currently lives in North Seattle with her husband and 2 children. She is an avid aerial hoop and pole dancer, teacher, as well as an aspiring personal trainer and coach.
