Cynthia began her first Presidency when she was pregnant with her son 29 years ago and has been a trailblazer and advocate for women in leadership ever since. She has been an active leader in YPO (Young Presidents Organization) with International leadership roles including elected Chair of the Women’s YPO Network (WYN) Chair, leading the 1,400+ female members in initiatives ranging from Board Education to Mentoring Younger Women which included launching some of the fist "Lean In Circles". She also is spearheading more female board leadership Women Corporate Directors, 2020 Women on Boards and frequently speaks on female leadership and diversity in the workplace.

Ms. Cleveland is an expert in developing, translating and monetizing intellectual property rights into major global consumer brands and new businesses across diverse industries. A 5-time CEO-President, Cynthia has led companies ranging from Fortune 500s to private for profit companies to start-ups. Companies she has led have generated over $4 billion in worldwide sales across consumer product, entertainment, and publishing brands. Her career has spanned well-known companies including Universal Studios, Mattel Toys, Teleflora Gifts and Carnation Foods(Nestle). She has also developed Digital Technology expertise to reach and monetize new markets.

As founding partner of Broadthink in 2002, a new business and business development consultancy, Cynthia has provided business strategy and brand development for clients ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.

Ms. Cleveland is an experienced board member having served on 10 Fiduciary and Advisory boards including both profit (CPP-The Myers Briggs Company, Imaginarium Toys) to non-profit (YPO, Indiana University, Children’s Nature Institute) to name a few. Cleveland was named "One of the Top 100 Visionary Leaders" by Real Leaders Magazine in 2015.
