Cristina Costa has been working in the technology industry for the past 5 years. She currently works as a Learning and Development Program Manager and Career Coach for a professional skill sharpening services company called OutCo. Cristina provides interview coaching and social emotional and interpersonal communication skills to software engineers. Previously, Cristina as a Customer Success Consultant and led the Diversity and Inclusion efforts at a Boston startup called Drift. Cristina has worked as the Director of Marketing and Student Engagement at an ed tech startup called Duet, whose mission is to provide affordable degrees to low income adults in the Boston area.

Cristina is an educator -- she has worked as a high school teacher, in higher education administration and has mentored many students along the way. She has a great appreciation for different cultures and diverse perspectives -- throughout her tech career journey she has witnessed a tremendous lack of diversity. This is why she leads Women with Purpose, an organization geared towards empowering women of color through professional development workshops and resources.

Cristina is passionate about community building and creating inclusive work spaces, so that people of color can be their authentic selves and thrive personally and professionally.
