Crista’s career, including time logged West Coast and across the South, spans business development, marketing, sales and operations within startups, lifestyle offerings and CPG brands, including CitySearch, Ticketmaster, IAC, Nestle, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits and most recently and presently as CEO of TextureMedia, which was acquired in August 2015 by Ultra/Standard, a large multicultural hair care distributor. TextureMedia’s flagship brand, NaturallyCurly, is the largest organically-grown social platform for female influencers in the world of hair care, engaging 30 million hair enthusiasts and servicing more than 80 hair care brands each year. Crista also currently serves on the Board of Mission Capital, Austin’s social sector leader for mission-driven organizations and people, as well as a Social Ventures Partner, a network of Austin business leaders and investors caring deeply about social impact and playing an active role in solving our community’s biggest problems. Crista also monthly mentors entrepreneurs at Capital Factory.
